Not far away from the city you will find the Albufera Nature Park, a Mediterranean ecosystem famous for its unspoiled forests, rice fields, dune beaches and a huge lake. This lake is protected as a national park and the biggest natural lake of Spain…
The rice is of course, used for Valencian’s most famous product: Paella!
You can take the bus to el Saler, the startingpoint of your trip which is about 20 minutes away from the city.
Or… choose for a full day in nature and let us arrange you a bicycle! When you chose for cycling you will follow a beautiful route along the dunes. El Saler Beach is totally different from the famous beaches on the westside of Valencia. White sand, dunes and pine trees make it to a very nice natural beach.
In El Saler you will be brought to the startingpoint of our boattrip. Our guide will lead you through small waters and over the big lake. He will tell you everything about the Albufera Nature Park and the many birds which you can see. The Red-knobbed Coot, the Balearic Shearwater, the Audouin's Gull, even the broad-billed Sandpiper, the ibis and… Flamingo’s!
